This is part of my Series on University Entrepreneurship.

I came across this video blog from peHub's prolific Dan Primack yesterday and was delighted to see that he too believes we are on the verge of witnessing the emergence of an enormous wave of university entrepreneurship. Interviewed by Reuters below, he gives his take on the forces at play that led me to recently herald the dawning of University Entrepreneurship 2.0

Great minds think a like.

the check is on its way David!

Dan is so correct. University's are creating dorms / living areas solely for entrepreneurs. This is huge! I guarantee you that great companies will be born from this.

People and universities should definitely start paying attention to guys like you Cory- people who are part of this tidal wave coming our way.... young people who are coming into universities as young entrepreneurs already... just checked out your website- great stuff!

Universities are also starting to encourage social entrepreneurship, and I have met many young people who are passionate about using entrepreneurship to solve some of the world's most pressing problems.

Jane- this is another part of the new wave for sure... I too see so many students who are starting companies in an effort to make a difference. I would also say a lot of this is coming from the students themselves and they are making the universities adapt!
